a month agoVisited in first week of May and stayed for 3 days.. Had a wonderful time . Lovely place, woke up to the view of Kanchenjunga on the first day,it was a great experience. Mr Thendup has been a great host and a very warm person and staff were also kind. Food was amazing, loved the Sikkimese delicacies they served us, every meal was a delight. Loved the forest trail around property and the lovely dog. Overall it as been a memorable experience.

2 months agoI stayed here for two nights (1-3 May) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience - the atmosphere, the food, the view of the Kanchenjunga, the warmth of the host and his staff. Mr. Thendup took the time to show me around the property. On my last morning, I took a 45-minute walk through the forested part of the farm, accompanied by two of the dogs that have made the farm their home. 2 months agoWe stayed here for two nights in March this year. It was a great decision. Mr. Thendup, the owner is very helpful and goes out of his way to provide service. We loved the food. The property is very big, full of trees and many many birds. Last but not the least the view of Kanchanjunga is amazing. Would love to go back again.

a year agoPros : 1. Rooms are very big and spacious. 2. The behavior of the owner and the staff were very nice. 3. Great view of Kanchenjunga in the morning. Cons: 1. Their service is very poor and we had to wait for a long time to get our meals. 2. The food is distasteful and takes long time to be prepared. 3. The electric sockets were not working in one of the rooms. 4. On one occasion we asked for fresh towels and received only one towel which was filthy and used. Verdict: If food and service are not a big factor for you and you are willing to spend a nice and quiet time in the Sikkimese valley at this price range, then you can go for it.

2 years agoA very beautiful and a well maintained place. The stay and service here is explicitly good and the food is great too. Mr. Thendup Bhutia is a genuinely humble and caring person who made us feel homely. The place is so beautiful that I had a photoshoot to capture It's beauty. It's a wonderful place to be amidst the forest and away from the chaos. The place is completely natural and all the nature around is kept intact. The scenic beauty of the Himalayan ranges from the cottage is the most priceless thing you can have here. The hot served authentic and homely meals with such a Happy, peaceful and positive ambiance is truly blissful. It was really hard for me to leave the place and go back home. Will surely be visiting the place once again. Thankyou so much Mr. Thendup.
