Excellent property, rooms and bathroom are clean and the property is beautifully decorated. The food was absolutely amazing, extremely delicious and well prepared, we got to taste so many homemade local cuisine and quantity was a lot. Over all nice experience

Had a comfortable stay at this property. The owner and his family are very nice people and assist their guests in all regards. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food was great and charges for it were also good. The property itself is very beautiful with some great views.

We had the pleasure of staying at Daragaon Retreat, Gurung Homestay in Darap Village, Pelling. Our hosts, Shri Shiva Gurung and Smt Radha Gurung, made our stay truly memorable. The property is situated in a stunning valley, just 6 kilometers from Pelling city, en route to Rimbi Falls and Kanchenjunga Falls. The location is serene, with breathtaking landscapes and an unspoiled environment. Shri Gurung and his family were warm and wonderful hosts, providing excellent local cuisine and accommodating our vegetarian needs with delicious meals. We stayed for two nights in spacious and elegant rooms. The property is well-maintained, featuring beautiful landscaping and gardening. A particularly delightful feature is the Koi pond at the entrance, which provides a sense of tranquility and relaxation. Although our stay was only two days, we wished we could have extended it. I highly recommend Gurung Homestay to anyone traveling to Pelling in the future.

This place gives an experience of a lifetime with the amazing property, mouthwatering food (thanks to the host Mrs. Radha) and the surroundings which beckons you to take a stroll along the trail up the village to the hilltop. If you do decide to take the trail, the pawsome dog will be your selfless guide. Ms. Sumina is always eager to serve the guests with a smile. One thing that fell short of expectations was the attention to detail in the cleanliness of the room, which had dust accumulated on the surfaces and slight water-clogging in the bathroom. The outdoors and common area were immaculate though.

Before visiting the place we were wondering,how would it be. But their hospitality and honest desire to love people made us speechless.Gurung ji , Aunty and their nieces welcomed us as their own family. The place was really nice and clean in the lap of nature. You will wake up every morning with the sound of nature. We would love to visit, again and again.
