Yuksom Welcome Homestay – Homestays Sikkim

I will always remember this place. My friend and I were here for over a week, but could have easily stayed for one month. The family is so friendly and generous; they made us the most lovely dinners every night with fresh vegetables from the garden. The surroundings are very calm and peaceful; you will hear lots of bird sounds and chanting from the temple in the distance. They have really cute dogs and a cat too. It all felt just like home.

Owner: Mr Bhutia and his family members were one of the best hosts during our Journey to Sikkim. They took care of us like their own family. We built a strong bond just in a single day. They are very nice and sweet people. Food: Mrs Bhutia cooks delicious food and most of the food items are grown in their organic farm which is inside the location only. We got one of the best food services there which was the same as our home's food.....delicious, hygienic and with many varieties. Location :It was the best spot to stay in our entire 8 day journey in Sikkim. Surrounded by mountains and beautiful nature, it is the best place for someone who is looking for peace and serenity and of course, one who is a nature lover. Animals: They have 5-6 pet Dogs, Goats, rabbits and various birds. We had a great bond with all of them specially with the dogs. Thank you for the awesome hospitality and food. Highly recommended

Where to start? The unrivalled hospitality? The food? The family? The sleep? The garden? Just an amazing, special place hosted by such a wonderful family. After trekking to Goechala, we returned and stayed another week, like returning home. The ultimate comfort. Miss this place dearly and cannot wait to return.

Our stay at Welcome Homestay is perhaps the most memorable of my life. Tucked away in the serene mountains of Yuksom, away from the chaos with chants of Buddhist Monks waking you up in the morning, it feels nothing less than heaven. Apheng Daaju and his family leaves no stone to make you comfortable. The food is organic and tasty. It tore our heart apart to leave the place. We are definitely coming back again for sure for a longer stay.

Welcome Homestay gave me a homely feeling, and the food there was excellent ,it was organic. It was also a great place for photoshoots, where you can experience real nature. The room service was very good, and the place was clean. The people were very kind and friendly, they even take you trekking. You won't feel like you're far away from home at all. This is the best homestay in Yuksom. I highly recommend it.
