3 weeks agoThough the lake isn't so beautiful but the way to the lake is really good as you will have to walk beside the jungle. This is a sacred lake and it is believed that it fulfills our wishes. There's also a cave above the lake.

3 weeks agoAbsolutely stunning beauty. The beautiful lake is surrounded by mountains all around. It's a sacred place for buddhists. Known as the "Wish-Fulfilling Lake," it exudes a deep sense of peace, surrounded by lush greenery and an enchanting ambiance. The lake’s surface remains remarkably clean, as local lore says birds pick away any leaves that fall on it. Visiting Khecheopalri Lake offers a blend of natural beauty and spiritual significance, making it a must-visit spot for those seeking serenity, cultural insight, and connection with nature in Sikkim.

a month agoA nice walk through a quite, green forest area takes you to the lake. It's a lake with religious significance, while offering great views to refresh the mind n soul.

6 months agoHoly lake and is sacred. The walk to the lake from the main road is about 10 minutes, through a small jungle like path. Is quiet all around and gives a sense of calmness. Near the lake prayer is held at temples. A cave is nearby (15 minutes up trek) and is another tourist destination. Entry fee (Rs 30) is charged. Souvenir shops, cafe and local wine is available outside the lake area. A monastery is also located nearby.

6 months agoWhen i had visited this place, I had to wait 10 min. In ticket counter. Huge rush was there. Ticket price was ₹30. When I reached destination after 10 min walk then I did vain hope. Because the bridge that spanned the lake did not exist. So the lake was seen from a distance. You can go hike 10/15 min. For top view of lake that will be better option. Due to rain I couldn't go hike which was bad luck for me.
