2 weeks agoAmazing stay! Everything was wonderful — the accommodation, the food, the people, and the environment. The room was very clean and spacious, and the staff often invited me for tea, which made me feel very welcome. The meals were always varied and incredibly delicious. Every day felt special. The staff and the local people were very friendly and kind, and they always took the time to talk with me. The location is absolutely beautiful, with easy access to nearby attractions and trekking routes, which made the stay even more special. The whole atmosphere of this area is just lovely. If you visit Yuksam, I highly recommend staying here!

5 months agoThis is a very clean and neat home stay, all the rooms look like they are newly built. We are very happy with the service. All the people there are really welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. You feel homely there. They have a very authentic, village style kitchen. Since I am also from village, I really feel the authenticity and it gives the touch of the culture of Sikkim. We were also lucky to witness the view of Mount Kabru for 10-15 minutes from the terrace of the building we stayed. It was during the beginning of October, it was a bit raining as well. Overall a very good experience.

3 months agoHad an amazing experience at this homestay! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful. The atmosphere was peaceful, the food tasted home-cooked and delicious, and every small detail was taken care of. Truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

2 months agoWe were suspicious of this place having only 5 star reviews, but our stay made us understand why it was so. Great people, who literally made us feel at home. You can talk to them to help place activities at Yuksom as well. They helped us find a guide to go on a day trek to Hong Gri Monastry. Food was good too.
