Amazing experience at Romila’s homestay. Not because we saw the mountain (it was foggy), but because of the way they made us feel as part of the family. The great food, the momo making experience and the cleaningness of the room were add ons. Come prepared to live a mountaineer’s life. Loved Johnny’s and Sonu’s food, they were the ones who really took care of us. Dinner and breakfast included, from their own garden vegetables. Loved the rhododendron wine and the pear kombucha. Thank you for hosting us!

Worst Homestay. Toilet dirty, all the equipments out of order. Pungent smell in the room. Bedcovers, pillow covers all smelling not washed.Food very low quality and quantity not sufficient. They know to take money but don’t know rather don’t want to serve proper quantity. MOST IMPORTANT——- Haunted place. Ground floor. Just returned yesterday we are still now in TRAUMA. Night 2 o’ clock knocking of the door starts. Then pushing the door from outside. Different kinds of sounds can be heard. Whole night you will not be able to sleep. It is very scaring. This is all done by their pet dogs Owner says . Which atleast I can’t believe. Think twice before booking.

Great homestay to stay. Very good hospitality and food quality is very good. One of the best homestay I have been. Must stay if you visit pelling. View rooms are with wooden finish with view of mt. Kanchanjunga.
