Red Panda Jungle Camp

We stayed with family for 3 nights. If you want to be in a place called 'nowhere', this is it. When it rains, the place becomes magical, and you can smell the clouds. The vegetation around is lush green with ferns growing to the size of a human, a mountain stream that constantly trickles down in the form of a small waterfall right next to the property. You can take a short 2km hike uphill and reach a mystical monastery. Stay there for a while to see the mist and clouds descend down from the hills making the place otherworldly. Downhill is an upcoming glass bridge project, and a temple dedicated to Mahatma Sirijunga Teyongshi, a 36 ft metallic bronze sculpture that stands tall, showcases the rich heritage of the local Limbu community. You can stay here for hours, peacefully seated on one of the bench perched atop the viewpoint and if you are lucky the Kanchenjunga range will reveal itself to you. The staff was very warm and welcoming, always prompt. We had some great food, sourced locally and cooked on wood fire, a truly unique and memorable experience. Special shout out to Mahua and her team and Narendra the culinary genius, you all made our stay so homely and comfortable. Also our constant 4 legged companion during our entire stay Raja - you were a cutie 🥰

Recently stayed here for 1 night. Goods Location - 5 stars. Hee Patal is the place name and you go through chayataal area. Its at 1940 meters elevation and feels like u r inside the forest. You get view of Kanchenjunga here. This place is offbeat, dead quiet. Rooms - 5 stars. Rooms are modern, sophisticated and very good. Service - 4 Stars. They are polite but bit delay in service. One can manage, it wont hurt. Bad Food - No outside option available as this is a very remote place. Their food exorbitantly high probably higher than a real 5 star hotel. So you cant order freely. Plus they dont have a fully functioning kitchen so they 2 hrs to prepare dinner.

This camp is located in a peaceful mountain lap. We saw kanchanjunga clearly from the balcony. Rooms are aesthetically very good. Here staffs are very soft spoken and cordial. They gave us all time service with a smile.

I stayed at Red Panda for 2 nights it was a very pleasant stay. The location is peaceful surrounded by forest with mountain views. Rooms were very spacious and staff were helpful and friendly. Meals included local food and served very quickly. Highlights of Red Panda birdwatching, sunrise and campfire. If anyone like nature stay this is a very hood stay.

We stayed two nights here, the place is serene and amidst the mountains. But the approach road was terrible so it was very frustrating to reach that place as we were in small cars however we didn’t know that they provide the transportation facility so before going ask for the same. After reaching the rooms are clean n tidy. Staff were less so service was bit slow, food was good specially non veg. There is one great view point at walkable distance.
