a month agoOne of the best hotels in India if you compare cost to what you get. Clean rooms, great wifi (easily good enough for my meetings), prime location in town. Reliable hot water too. Even had tea brought to me each morning by gracious hosts. It is attached to the trekking company next door but there is absolutely no hard sell whatsoever. A dream find.

2 months agoI stayed at Tasha La Homestay both before and after my GoechaLa trek, and I couldn't have made a better choice. It is, without a doubt, a fantastic place to stay in Yuksom. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and provide the perfect environment to rest before hitting the trail or to recover afterwards. What truly stands out is the home-cooked food—it was absolutely excellent, fresh, and delicious- and the customer service; Puspa is incredibly attentive and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. If you are planning a trekking trip in the area, Tasha La Homestay is a top-tier option.

5 months agoStayed at Tashi La Homestay and had a truly wonderful time. It’s one of those rare places that actually feels like it’s in the middle of the wilderness—quiet, untouched, and incredibly peaceful. The surroundings are beautiful and perfect if you want to disconnect and slow down. The hosts were warm and welcoming, making the stay comfortable and homely. If you’re looking for an authentic experience away from crowds and noise, Tashi La Homestay is a great choice. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys nature and serenity.

7 months agoI stayed before and after the Goechala trek, clean and modern rooms with good facilities. Great food and service with a smile! Perfect location to explore Yuksum as well, opposite the temple and a short walk to the lake.

2 months agoHad a very nice stay in Tashi La Homestay for our Goechala Trek. Very nice and spacious rooms, with very good location of prayer wheels and Market from the Balcony. Highly recommended stay in Yuksom.
