The location is unbeatable, situated just a short walk below the iconic tea garden. The property has a gorgeously maintained garden upfront, the rooms are very tidy and spacious, and the mountain vistas are stunning. Big thanks to the hosts for being so welcoming and feeding us such delicious, home-cooked local meals. Will definitely recommend this gem to all my friends and family!

As a solo woman traveller from Malaysia, choosing Aansham Kuitir Homestay was one of the best decisions I made during my trip. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like a member of the family, and I never once felt like a stranger. The homestay offers a truly authentic village experience. The ambience is peaceful, traditional, and surrounded by nature. They have cows and goats, organically grown vegetables, and a beautiful way of life that reflects simplicity, sustainability, and genuine hospitality. It was refreshing to witness and be part of their daily lifestyle. A special thank you to Muskan, Anita, and Aunty Ji, who made my stay incredibly memorable with their warmth and kindness. Their care came straight from the heart, making me feel safe, comfortable, and at home throughout my stay. One of the highlights was being invited to take part in preparing meals using a traditional wood-fired stove and traditional butter churning method. It was such a unique and meaningful experience. The authentic Nepali dinner and breakfast they served were absolutely delicious, homemade with fresh ingredients from their own farm, and offered with so much generosity. A heartfelt thanks to Uncle as well, who took me on a short tour around the village and patiently explained how they cultivate and maintain their crops using organic farming practices. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the hard work and dedication behind their way of life. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay—if you want to experience genuine Nepali hospitality, traditional village life, and create unforgettable memories—I wholeheartedly recommend Aansham Kuitir Homestay. Some places don’t just give you a stay — they give you a feeling of home. Aansham Kutir is one such place. This was my second visit in just over a month, and once again, from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not as guests but as family. The warmth, kindness, and quiet grace of the homestay family created an atmosphere of peace that my parents especially fell in love with. Every meal was a reminder of home — simple, soulful, and prepared with genuine care. In just two days, this place left a lasting imprint on our hearts. Ansham Kutir Homestay is very nice. All the family members are very friendly. The food and breakfast here are organic and remind us of the local food of Sikkim and our home food. The rooms are very big and clean. We can enjoy the surroundings by sitting in the garden outside. If you want to explore real Sikkim, definitely visit this homestay.

We have stayed 3 nights in this homestay from 19th March to 21st March. According to our tour plan the stay was for only 1 night, but after reaching there we decided to stay for 3 nights due to amazing environment, there heart touching hospitality and homely atmosphere. Foods and rooms were also good. All the foods were made from the vegetables grew in there own organic garden. Electric catle and Guiser are available in rooms.
