We had been there for a leisure trip for couple of days. Would like to call it as a perfect home stay for family . The room was specious with wide roof top which very often gets sorrounded by heavenly cloud . The hospitality and food quality are beyond questions. Specially Komola Mam and Miss Sonu was very caring about guests . The road is little troublsome for small cars but overall had a great experience.

Had the most horrible experience at this property.. to reach this property was a Night mare. We are a group of 7people who were not informed by this homestay before taking the bookings that their roads are closed from 10am to 3pm and 5pm to next day 8am. We reached on 25th of December and the most worst of road conditions we ever faced was this Under Progress Highway. The Agent who guided us to this Homestay from Padamchen told us its only 35mins from Padamchen but it took us 3hrs to reach as the roads were entirely broken. The owner of the hotel knew this but never warned us on the same before we came. When we reached suddenly the caretakers told us that again roads shall be closed from 10am to 3pm. We reached the highway from this homestay in 20mins and again got stuck at 10am near the highway for the entire day. We all had a Train Bus to catch at 7pm from siliguri and we all missed it..around a loss of 8k rupees.plus we had to stay overnight at siliguri in hotel due to this mishap. If The Owner knows this condition how is he taking Bookings without informing the guests?? The food is so spicy at this homestay , and The breakfast is awful.. they give u chapattis like Paapad.. dat too with Sukha Alu bhaji.. horrible combination.. There is zero service from the caretakers, they dont even carry your heavy luggage even from the Car to their main entrance..You have to do all by urself wethere ur fit or not..they will run away when you ask for any help We asked for Bon Fire they denied it saying it might rain..it didnot rain at all.. entirely bad experience..we would want our entire money back.. bcz we lost our trains due to this unknown issue which they never informed us..

Pathetic hospitality...I must say. The lady owner literally thrown the room keys on us and asked to find the rooms by our own. As if they are letting us to stay there on free of cost. You have to carry your drinking water from the kitchen to the 2nd floor every time by your own. If you go for dinning late by 5 minutes the owner will shout on you. She was behaving like a typical hostel warden. Food quality not good. We got similar feedback from the drivers and other homestays we visited during our stay in Sikkim. Not recommended.
