I am currently in Bayul homestay. It's a beautiful place to be. I was initially hesitant to stay but coming here was one of the best decisions. Things we consider when we travel Stay: Beautiful nice cozy well kept rooms with neat and clean bathrooms with all facilities. Bed warmer is there and on top of it the owners provided us to super soft and clean warm thick blankets. Food: Amazing home cooked simple and tasty food. Location: On the top of the city. Will post pics of the view once we will click it in the morning. Do not plan to come if you are high maintenance and looking for room service. Owners are super nice and it feels like we are at home.

After so many good reviews I visited this homestay with a lot of hope. The location is good. Rooms are average. The quality of food is not at all good. The behaviour of the homestay owners are like you are at their mercy. Also they don't have enough infrastructure to handle extreme cold. If you are coming with family you should avoid this homestay. You should check for better quality hotels.

Wonderful Homestay at Lachung. Mr Pema and his wife took really good care of us. We felt home away from home. Mrs Pema makes really good food. Their ever smiling son (10 months old) is the best attraction of the homestay. They have a friendly dog and 2 cats as their pets. The Majestic view of the Himalayas from the homestay is mesmerizing. Definitely recommend homestay when in Lachung :)

The location of the stay is breathtaking with the snow capped mountains lurching over the place. The host is very warm, including milo (dog), zuzu and tiku (cats). He prepares food well. It is a very good place to experience the village life in Lachung.
