Mangalbaria Homestay

A very educated family serves as the host who are extremely professional and pay attention to all your needs. Their staff is also courteous. The rooms are clean. Food is good. The homestay is very beautiful with lots of plants and flowers.

We were stranded otw to pelling due to a landslide & Luckily we were quite near this place at 10pm on a Sunday. The owners gladly hosted us, made delicious noodles & tea for 6 of us at 11pm at night and provided amazing breakfast in the morning. The rooms were very reasonable , and we're super thankful the owners didn't take advantage of that situation. The stay is beautiful and well maintained and bound to be even more beautiful in the winters.

No doubt this is awarded as the best homestay in Sikkim in 2024. This is where one feels like home. This place is for people who love serenity, tranquility, peace and nature. Surrounded by mountains and forests, this homestay makes you feel loved. The host Boonu, his wife and his parents, everyone took care of us the moment we stepped foot in their humble abode. Also,Prerna and Ankit tended to all our needs. I should also mention the dog who will take care of you every time you step out or step in. Coming to the food, I can say the food they prepare is so delicious that it will make you crave for more. Such simple yet delicious food is worth fingerlicking. The rooms are clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. They have an open area where you can sit or chat or read. Also they grow local fruits and veggies. Oh please do try their homemade coffee. You will feel so connected with nature. There is no wifi as of now and network coverage is less. But you won't need it if you wish to enjoy some music of nature. In just two days, we have received so much love. We have totally enjoyed our stay here and we wish to come here again.

A very comfortable stay at an offbeat location. Very warm and welcoming host family. They will make you feel at home .I would say a home away from home. I love the home cooked food that tasted amazing. Even my daughter also loved the place and food .
