We recently had the pleasure of staying at welcome Homestay and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of [location], this cozy home provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Location: The homestay is situated in a peaceful, scenic area with easy access to local attractions, making it ideal for both relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re looking to explore nearby trails, visit local markets, or just unwind, the location strikes the perfect balance. Host: The highlight of my stay was definitely the warm hospitality. Apeng Bhutia went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and at home. From the personalized welcome note to the thoughtful local recommendations, it was clear that the host truly cares about their guests' experience. Accommodation: The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. I particularly loved the large window with a beautiful view of the garden" or "comfy bed and fresh linens"]. It felt like a true home away from home. The shared spaces, including the kitchen and living room, were well-maintained and inviting. There was also free Wi-Fi, which was a nice touch. Amenities: The homestay is fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. From a fully stocked kitchen to complimentary toiletries and even a small library of books, it felt like all the little details had been thought of. I also enjoyed the peaceful garden area, perfect for morning coffee or an evening stroll. Overall Experience: I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The homestay provided an authentic, personalized feel that you just don’t get at larger hotels. The combination of comfort, charm, and thoughtful touches made my stay memorable. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in the area and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay.

We had a peaceful stay at Welcome Homestay during off seasons. Host: The family running the homestay is very warm and welcoming. They provided hot water for drinking and tea without even asking. Rooms: Very large and clean. Toilets were very clean and had geyser for hot water whenever needed. Location: It is close to the market. However, it is not reachable by car and need to walk about 500 m in mud road from the main road, which can be an issue for some people who are just used to paved roads. Views: Yuksom being a valley, you can't expect much views. Homestay is more like a the midst of farms and forest. They have beautiful garden and lawn. However, once in the room, you feel disconnected from rest of environment. If the rooms were such that it let you connect with the outside (rooms arranged in circles instead of row with place to sit out), it would be a wonderful place and 5 start worthy.

Had an amazing stay at Welcome Homestay in Yoksum, West Sikkim! The food was super tasty and felt just like home. The room was clean and comfy, but the best part was the owner and his lovely family — they took care of everything and even took us sightseeing and on a short trek. It’s a bit remote, but that peaceful isolation is exactly what we needed. If you’re looking for quiet, nature, and warm hospitality, this place is perfect. Highly recommend! Truly a GEM 💎

I had a wonderful stay at this homestay. I originally planned to stay for just one night but ended up staying for three. The food was excellent mostly made with organic vegetables from their own farm. The hosts were amazing, they patiently answered all my curious (and sometimes personal) questions. Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable visit.
