4 months agoOur stay at Yangpal homestay was amazing. Very beautiful house. The family was really kind. We had good conversations during dinner and breakfast. Learned a lot about the yuksom from them. The owner gave us a tour of her garden where she grows all veggies and spices used for her delicious cooking. I would love to return again. Thank you for the great time!

3 months agoWatah time with Chesang and Thutop last week.. Very well maintained rooms. We had to split from our trek group, so two of us returned early. Chesang started early from work, kept warm water ready in our room and hot lunch was ready at dining. And for next two days we lived out of their towels, toiletries, socks, etc as all our dress went up with mules. Each meal will be served with a new pickle variant and she will also share the ingredients and method. Loved the way Thutop brings rice bowl to dining table, special sikkim hospitality. Last day we went thru their large garden and learnt except rice everything else is produced or made at home. A must stay place, if you happen to go to Yuksom

4 months agoWe had a very wholesome and relaxing stay with Chesangla, Thutop and their son. Chesangla makes and grows most of their food organic, which is amazing and so tasty. She also has a big variety of homemade pickles for every meal and we loved the conversations we had with them during dinner and breakfast. The family is super friendly and were flexible when we came back one day early from the Dzongri trek. This combined with the slow pace of life in Yuksom and their culture made us feel at home and makes us want to visit them again. Thank you Chesangla for the Chili seeds, we’ll try to grow them back home in the Netherlands.

3 months agoOne of the most memorable stay hospitality and behaviour of the owner is very welcoming and colse to heart you can have a full comfortable stay here the owner cooks very well you can try True authentic local dishes here just ask the owner to cook what they want you to eat. You'll be full relaxed and morning view from the terrace is very attractive.
