What an amazing find! We were recommended Dhuni Homestay by a friend in Gangtok. We longed to be out of the city, and be surrounded by nature, with the ability to go for walks in the hills. Dhuni Homestay provided this and so much more. Mandeep and his family provided us with delicious organic meals, hikes to waterfalls and up a mountain, and a feeling like we'd found a home away from home. We are so very grateful to Dhuni Homestay and our 10 days there will always remain in our memories. Highly recommend ❤️
Amazing place - simple , peaceful , serene.
Food was great!! , host Mandeep made us local food made of fresh veggies from his farm. It was great to see the host couple Mandeep and Bhavana passionate about their work and genuinely doing their best to preserve nature . It was nice meeting this amazing passionate couple and their adorable daughter Nephika.
Definitely want to visit again and do the Baledunga trek with Mandeep. Only regret is could have spent more time here !! Will definitely visit again
Dhuni Homestay is truly a place of love, vibes and happiness. The views, the food and its people are a breath of fresh air from city life. The hosts make you feel right at home with their energy and hospitality. Walking around the paddy fields with my cutest friend Gundulu was pure joy, talking and playing with her made me connect to my inner child like never before. Every moment spent here was peace. Dhuni is just magic, I will definitely come back and will always crave more days here no matter how long I stay!
Will write a long one for this. One can choose to go to a place to enjoy the beauty and ambience. Then one can come to Dhuni for a compete immersive experience. The homestay is situated amidst farms and a very small hamlet of happy and welcoming people. The hosts, Bhawana and Mandeep are immensely warm and caring and will make you feel like family instantly. And yes please remember this is not a commercial property so please don't expect hotel like features and service. The rooms are cosy and very clean. The food was organic in its truest sense and the culinary journey for the duration will be so new and healthy. There are lot of short hikes around the place. Yangang Bazaar situated around 3-4kms from the place is also a nice place to chill out. Our stay was super memorable especially due to the warm hospitality of the hosts including the little but super charming Gundulu. This will remain an unforgettable experience for us. Highly highly recommended
We had the beautiful alignment to reach this paradise in the lap of nature run by these kind keepers of Nature Mandeep and Bhavana. Their hospitality and love will not only make u feel at home but also make u feel connected to our mother earth.
Organic food cooked with love and care ..healthy organic smoothies to make up ur morning. Amazing herbal tea and so much more.
Open spring water shower and the chilling Hut with the hamocs to just daze away into nature.
It was the best experience we had while we were in sikkim. Just as we wanted. The true beauty and raw authenticity of Sikkim away from the chaos of gangtok and the crowded concrete structures.
Follow the village pathways and trails and natural virgin waterfalls all around this haven called Dhuni.
No traffic sound no crowds just pure music of nature.
