2 months agoOur stay at Talay Ghar Homestay was unforgettable! The warmth that they lavished on us made us feel completely at home. The home-cooked, local food was delicious and every meal was a delight. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with grand mountain views! The Gurung family went out of their way to make every moment memorable. We really felt like we were part of their family. Their sweet dog added extra charm! It was truly one of the best stays ever and I can't wait to go back!

a month agoI stayed at Talay Ghar Homestay for a holiday trip with friends, and it turned out to be a wonderful and memorable experience. The property offers a peaceful and quiet atmosphere with great views, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were neat and clean, with a beautiful blend of modern comfort and traditional aesthetics, which added a lot of charm to the stay. The homestay is easily accessible by vehicle, and its location makes it convenient to visit nearby places such as Pelling, Yuksom, and Kaluk. The food was another highlight, delicious, wholesome, and rooted in traditional cuisines that gave us a taste of the local culture. What truly sets Talay Ghar Homestay apart are the hosts. They are warm, caring, and genuinely hospitable. We especially enjoyed spending time with them during the bonfire, which made the experience feel even more personal and homely. Overall, the stay offered great value, comfort, and a welcoming environment, highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and enriching homestay experience.

2 months agoTalay Ghar homestay is truly a tiny piece of paradise. We woke up to bird song and spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga. The Talay Ghar family looked after us with so much love. Conversations were warm and interesting. The food was amazing, hearty and mostly home grown. We got to taste their cuisine, we got a little insight into local life and this one month has changed me forever.

2 months agoWe,an aged couple from Kolkata, had the opportunity to stay at this homestay on 22nd &23rd November,25. Location is slightly offbeat from Kaluk bazar of west Sikkim,in a serene atmosphere in the lap of nature. Room , Service, Food are really exceptional. The service and hospitality provided by the village girl Deepa is commendable. Her simplicity, goodness and modesty made us mesmerized. She always tries to make our stay happy and comfortable. All family members are also friendly. I would recommend every tourist and nature lovers to stay at this homestay to experience the beauty of nature at this offbeat location of Sikkim.

a month agoTalay Ghar Homestay will always be remembered and will be dearly missed. Only one definition for this homestay- "Truly a home away from home". I really feel like crying while leaving. From the day of booking till the day of leaving, the way they have always extended their helping hands, it is beyond any word. The way they welcome and take of guests, the food, the hospitality -everything touched our hearts. The bonfire of last day will always be stored in our hearts. The experience that we have got, it is unforgettable. It will always be cherished in our hearts. May they prosper in their business in future. All the best for their future endeavors.
