Takchi homestay in Phadamchen is extremely good. This town is very small, isolated and this homestay makes it worthwhile. You can see amazing view of stars at night, the food here is delicious, well cooked and people are considerate. The view of mountains is very good. Service is at par, and there are too many flowers and plants to spend the day. You can see beautiful sunset from their property. It is an ideal place if you want to visit old silk route , zuluk, baba mandir.

I recently stayed at Takchi homestay at Phadamchen, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The room was basic, super clean and well-maintained with all required amenities offering beautiful views of the surrounding nature. The bathroom was also very clean and there is geyser which is much needed in such cold place. One of the highlights of Takchi homestay is its proximity to excellent birding sites. The homestay is nestled in a lush, natural setting, and it's conveniently located near several birdwatching hotspots. As a bird enthusiast, I appreciated being able to explore the nearby trails and observe a wide variety of bird species. I went on a guided birdwatching tour arranged by homestay owner Mr. Chamba ji, and it exceeded my expectations. This homestay is being run by its owner Mr. Chamba ji and his wife. They are exceptional in their hospitality. I want to mention specially about the quality and quantity of the foods they provide at that altitude. Every item is very tasty and homely cooked. We had a local fish also. The combination of comfortable accommodations, stunning natural surroundings, amazing food and outstanding birding opportunities makes it a perfect destination for tourists and birdwatchers. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Chamba ji for making us stay so memorable.

Takchi home stay at Padmachen is a nice place for a night. The hospitality of the the is just awesome. A retired police person who is keen to host their guests. The kitchen is run by his brother who also takes every care of guests visiting their place. You have to come down few steps before you reach rooms. They also run one small shop for day to day items.
