If you’re looking for peace and quiet in Aritar, this homestay is an absolute gem. Perched on top of a hill, away from the main locality, it offers complete serenity and stunning valley views. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing — the kind of place where you can truly unwind and breathe in nature. I stayed here on 28th September 2025. There’s a viewpoint just a 5-minute walk away that opens up to a mesmerizing panorama of the entire valley. On a clear day, you might even catch a glimpse of the mighty Kanchenjunga — I wasn’t lucky enough this time, but I can imagine how magical that sight must be! The property had four charming cottages during my visit. I stayed in the upper one — clean, cozy, and well maintained, with a clean washroom. The homestay owner is incredibly kind and helpful, always ensuring guests feel at home. The food deserves a special mention — simple, delicious, and prepared with love. They ask your food preferences before cooking, and many of the vegetables come straight from their own organic garden. If you want to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature, this homestay in Aritar is just perfect — peaceful surroundings, breathtaking views, and the warmth of genuine hospitality.

The place and the atmosphere there is very nice. The people are also very friendly, The owner of the place is enough to make your night more beautiful. The quality of food and friendliness is very good, In the afternoon you can play volleyball and enjoy coffee and pakoras sitting on the top of the hill... In short, if you were there, our journey would be more beautiful❤️❤️

I recently stayed at Sikkim Himalayan Homestay, and it was an unforgettable experience! The owner is incredibly helpful and welcoming, making me feel right at home with their friendly and warm demeanor. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and their local tips were invaluable. One of the highlights of the stay was the breathtaking sunset point located just a short walk away. Watching the sun dip behind the horizon from there was truly magical! Additionally, the view from my room window was stunning – waking up to the sight of majestic mountains every morning was a dream come true. The homestay was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to relax and reconnect with nature. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a serene and picturesque getaway. Can't wait to visit again! 🌄🏔️
