Nirvana Homestay, Ravangla – Homestays Sikkim

If you want to stay in a serene location a little far away from the nearest town then this is exactly the place for you. The food is good. The people are good. However, I chose to give 4 stars as the homestay has 2 sections located a few minutes walk from each other. Taking a very large group is not advisable.

The behaviour of the staffs is unacceptable. The rooms that we had booked were allotted to some other guests without our knowledge. The premise is infested with insects and annelids. When we complained about it to one staff, he replied "It is natural". One of the staff was rude enough to tell us to leave the homestay and go to some hotel. Moreover the meals were overpriced and the staffs were unable to produce a proper menu card when asked to do so. The place has no correspondence with its name. I would not recommend this place to someone who is planning for a vacation.

Beautiful offbeat destination..for family and couples also.Close to nature.Paradise for bird watchers. Encountered many beautiful species of bird.Stayed for three days,was hoping to stay longer but had to go early.Hoping to visit this beautiful homestay again.Loved the hospitality.

ALERT: Never opt for this homestay...I repeat NEVER. This is the worst homestay I've ever been to as far as the service and property is concerned. They allotted one of our rooms to some other guest without informing us. The staffs were very rude and were not ready to take the responsibility of their shortcomings. One of them was audacious enough to tell us to leave the property and look for some hotel. Avoid this place if you want to enjoy your vacation.

Great location most suitable for offbeat travelers. A place where you can enjoy the chirping of birds as an wakeup alarm. Tranquility 💜💙💚🤍🤎 friendly owner. Away from city life.
