3 months agoIf you want to experience the authentic lifestyle and hospitality of these parts, stay here at Gyalzam Homestay. Sangay and her whole family are very hardworking people, always smiling, always looking after every little need of their guests. They have cozy rooms with clean bathrooms and every amenities that you may need. You will get tasty home cooked meals, freshly prepared, often from vegetables grown in their own organic farms. Location is good, there is a monastery at a walking distance and a very interesting carved stone at their premises. They have pick up/drop services to Barsey and a grocery store inhouse. As a solo traveller I was given the cutest Room I ever stayed in, I will never forget that.

2 years agoThe place is a centre, you can visit the Okhrey Monastery and go for trekking and enjoy the views of the himalaya and surrounding areas. A huge holy stone carved in the 19th century with Buddhist Mantra is nearby. Feel like being in home at the same time enjoy the vacation and tour.
