DENZONG HOMESTAY LHADINKYU

Good morning. Me, my wife and son have been traveling different parts of the country for more than a decade and we normally prefer to stay with local country side people than in city hotels. On searching on ChatGPT, we found this homestay as highly appreciated by all among other properties in the area and after living there for a day we too are endorsing the same. This stay of ours undoubtedly ranks among the top in respect of hospitality, warmthness and the overall experience. The owner Karma and his good lady were so friendly and caring towards every small requirement of the guests. The food was way better than many big hotels. Trip to their farm, company of their extended family of pet dogs, very reasonable overall price, sweet gesture of giving small samplings, everything was so nice that if we come towards this side again even without requirement of stay, we definitely gonna visit them. Thankyou so much Karma and his better half for giving wonderful memories of Sikkim.

The most clean and neat homestay we stayed in Sikkim. The place is so close to nature, nestled in a quaint little town, which is maintained clean and beautiful, with good layout for a stroll. The people we met there were also very kind and goes above and beyond to help tourists. The accommodation was neatly maintained with every amenity for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were very peaceful, with animals, vegetables and plants, that it felt like a small homestead. The host was very accommodating and helped us with whatever we needed to make our stay comfortable. The home cooked food was very delicious, made with simple and fresh ingredients, served in ample quantity. A shared taxi was also arranged for our return trip, with pick up from right in front of the house. Would definitely be staying here, when we visit again.

I stayed here for almost three months, and it genuinely felt like being adopted by a family. Karma Bhai and his wife notices the little things like checking in on meals, offering warm milk after, and helping before you even ask. The home is simple, spotless, quiet, and full of gentle warmth (friendly dogs included). When the family stepped out, their neighbour Shreetesh would drop by to feed the dogs, sweep, or cook ; small acts that made it feel safe. Perfect for solo travellers and long stays. I left with memories, not just a regular checkout.

Very good homestay. Warm and cozy and beautiful. But I must say the place is a bit offside. But the rooms are great, food and behavior of the homeowner are great. Its about one kilometer down from the main spot of Temi tea garden. I highly recommend.

Heartwarming experience with this beautiful family in Temi. We felt like home with the outstanding service provided and the kindness of our host Karma and his wife. Complementary breakfast is delicious and filling, but we would definitely recommend to also have dinner at the homestay. The vegetables are organic homegrown and Karma's wife is a magician in the kitchen transforming them into amazing food! They fixed everything for us so our arrival and departure from the homestay would go smoothly and they even lent us their umbrella since it was raining quite a lot and we weren't equipped. Rooms are also very modern and comfortable. And the location is great, just 5-10 min walk above the city center, and 15-20 min away from the closest tea garden. If you want to go to the tea factories though you will have to walk 5 kms or hire a cab. One of our best homestay experience so far. Don't miss it!
