Chachal Enchanted Riverside Camping

Had an excellent and adventurous stay by the riverside! The hospitality was truly outstanding — the people were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place felt safe and secure, with locals and their dogs staying nearby throughout the night. The food was delicious, and the location was simply breathtaking with rivers, hills and waterfalls all around. A perfect getaway, and I’d absolutely love to visit again!

We visited Chachal Enchanted Riverside Camping as a team of 6 from Gujarat, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable trips we've ever taken together. The campsite is nestled right beside a roaring river, surrounded by lush green hills and dense forest — the kind of setting that makes you forget the world exists beyond the valley. A huge shoutout to Roshan Rai (Robin), who has clearly poured his heart and soul into building this place from the ground up. His warmth and hospitality made us feel like family, not guests. From arranging our tents right by the riverside to making sure every little detail was taken care of, Robin went above and beyond. You can tell this isn't just a business for him — it's a passion project. The food deserves special mention. Vidhaan cooked absolutely delicious meals for us — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly suited to fuel a day of adventure. Every meal felt like a home-cooked feast in the middle of the wilderness. And then there was the bonfire by Aadi — a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Sitting around the fire under a sky full of stars, with the sound of the river rushing past, was pure magic. Aadi really knows how to set the mood and keep the energy alive. We spent our time collecting river stones, exploring the boulders, sipping drinks from bamboo cups, and soaking in the raw beauty of Sikkim. The river is pristine with turquoise water crashing over massive rocks — perfect for wading and just sitting by. The roses in the garden were a lovely little touch too. If you're looking for an off-the-grid camping experience that's authentic, peaceful, and run by genuinely wonderful people, Chachal is the place. We came as visitors and left as friends. Absolutely loved our stay at this camping site! I went with a group of friends, and we had an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the hospitality and the warmth of the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel incredibly welcome. The tents were well-maintained, spacious, and set up in a beautiful, serene area, providing just the right balance of comfort and nature. We could truly relax and enjoy the outdoors while still having the essentials taken care of. The highlight of our trip was the bonfire setup, where we gathered that night under the stars. It was such a perfect spot to share stories, enjoy music, and just soak in the peaceful vibe of the place. Overall, the combination of great service, scenic surroundings, and fun activities made our camping trip truly special. The absence of electricity adds to its vintage charm, making it a truly unique and adventurous experience. If you love nature and want to disconnect from the modern world, this is the perfect place. The hospitality was amazing, with warm and friendly behavior from everyone. Special thanks to Roshanji, the wonderful owner, for making our stay so memorable. Also, a big shoutout to Provat for his exceptional service! Our only request would be to have a dedicated toilet for ladies, but apart from that, everything was absolutely superb. We highly recommend keeping the place as it is—no electricity needed! A must-visit for adventure lovers! 🌿🏕️
