2 months agoTadong Firm House is located in an offbeat place free from any sounds of vehicles or market. The sounds of the birds and insects will only break the ultimate silence of the location. It's host Shri Anil Gurung is an energetic and dedicated youth who fulfills the requirements of the visitors professionally as well as sincerely. The family members are very cordial and make us feel that we are actually at our home away from home. The food are served according to the wish of the visitors. We are provided authentic Sikkimise cuisine like Thukpa etc. as requested. We preferred the vegetables ot their firm. The view of the eastern Himalayan ranges and the majestic Kanchenjunga will be clear in a cloud free sky. The view from the window has no obstruction of trees or electric lines so as to enable the visitors to see the picturesque beauty of the mountains. Few steps treak from the road is really fascinating. A tree of Rodedrendon with blossom will greet at entrance of the staircase if one arrives during March -April. We are told that the view of Kanchenjunga is best seen during November-December. Highly recommended for visitors to get the vibes of a real homestay and the tranquility of the nearby nature.

2 years agoI had the most humble meals here. Been to quite a few homestays but this is undoubtedly the best of all. The wooden rooms are quite spacious, warm, and cozy. Food is amazing, you'll get all kinds of local delicacies, made with absolutely delicious farm fresh veggies that they grow themselves. If you're lucky, you can see Khangchendzongha from your bed. The hosts are just wonderful! One of my best travel memories is staying here ❤️

a year agoPros:-Very nice and awesome homestay , very friendly behavior and excellent and tasty food they provide. Quality of room is too good and from room you can see Kangchenjunga mountain .....thanks Tadong farm house for giving us good hospitality. Cons:-Steep staircase which is very difficult for old person for up and down.
