We visited the stay in December 2025. And it was one of the best stay we ever experienced. The wide panoramic unobstructed, nd breathtaking view of the Himalayas, the serene beauty , the warm welcome of the hosts left us speechless. The food was absolutely tasty and finger licking. The homely nature of the stay just made feel us like a family instatly. The hymns of the monastery aside gave us the peace we wanted from our busy schedule. The best stay of Rinchenpong indeed. It's a perfect Himalayan soul escape.

This is a decent homestay with cordial staff and owner. The lunch, dinner and breakfast were average. The staff forgot to serve snacks. The toilet flush was leaking water a bit. However, the room was clean and towel and soap were provided unlike many home-stays in Sikkim. It is a stone's throw away from the monastery and close to some restaurants and bars. The room also had a balcony which can offer a view of the mountains if the skies are clear.
