2 weeks agoLoved every bit of my stay with Limboo family and their pets. With a pretty and huge garden my room had a great view. Food was prepared simply from products sourced locally and tasted amazing.

3 weeks agoGarden is wonderfully maintained. Other than that, food was average, uncomfortable beds (some) with stained bedsheets. Kitchen hygiene was questionable as we noticed pets licking used plates. Didn't feel like a homestay, more like a commercial setup. Didn't feel very welcomed/homely.

2 weeks agoRani didi and Pappu, their dog were the highlight of my stay. Limboos were suggested to me by many while I was roaming around in West Sikkim. The hospitality and food were top notch. Rooms and linens were clean. Dubdi was less than a km away through a beautiful but steep path. They even had bike rental service at discounted rate for inhouse guest. Limboo family made me feel at home making sure that I enjoyed every moment spent here. Will be back soon!

2 months agoThis place is so wonderful we were going to stay for two nights and ended up staying for six! It's in a beautiful location with plenty of walks in the area and a few minutes from cafes in Yuksom. The breakfasts and dinners in Limboo are delicious! We loved that everyone sits down together to eat - it's very social and friendly. They also have a beautiful garden for relaxing in and some very nice cats and dogs. The only thing to note is that dogs in the village can be very noisy at night - nothing that they can do about it but I recommend bringing earplugs :)

5 months agoOur time at Limboo Homestay has been one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve had on our travels. The place is set in a beautiful, thriving vegetable garden amidst the rolling Himalayas, and is the base of a short but steep walk up to Sikkim’s oldest functioning monastery. The cottage was luxuriously big and comfortable, with warm showers, plenty of blankets and a balcony overlooking the serene gardens. What was most special about our stay was meeting the lovely family that run it; they were hospitable and warm, providing us with an abundance of incredible food (Thali’s, soups, omelettes, pancakes - all made with fresh ingredients from their garden) and they kindly welcomed us into their Limboo culture. We would wholeheartedly recommend this Homestay to any travellers looking to stay in the Himalayas and experience Sikkim. A big shoutout to Ikla for truly immersing us into the local culture!!
