a month agoRecently we have the pleasure of staying there for two days. It's a peaceful staying. Their hospitality, food, Room everything is to be praised for. The home stay is on the top of the village with huge capacity and modern amenities. They have the best view rooms, rhododendron wine and chicken curry of the zone ❤️🩵

8 months agoWonderful homestay with very hospitable hosts. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Warm meals, scenic view and lovely hosts, what more could we ask for? Overall we had a pleasant stay. Those wanting some time off from the daily grind should go for it.

6 months agoTheir sincerity and care was mind blowing. The dinner and breakfast were very very good starting from the welcome water. And the beauty of the night was magical. Laligurus is the golden memory of my November trek last year

8 months agoAlthough this homestay has so many good reviews but our experience was not at all good. I booked mountain facing room with balcony 1 month in advance, they alloted it to someone who just enquired on the day of check in without any prior booking & we were alloted a backside room. Also, would like to mention that you will have very limited options for food, in lunch all they served was daal, rice, alu bhaja & omlette(after insisting). The location is good & it's near to the okhrey monastery. Rooms are also decent.

a year agoI had the best of experience which will last a lifetime. I will surely visit again and the Host Family was so cultured, caring and prepared for us the best local cuisine with organic vegetables from their own farm. Zigmee the second generation, a lovely young man and an government engineer, his father, mother and his brother who reached a day later post our visit were so good. We undertook a self-driven perilous journey via Darjeeling but upon reaching all our exhaustion vanished with their hospitality. We saw had an overall experience of their culture, cuisine and traditions all within the three days we stayed from 20-23rd October 2023.
