Hitaishi Homestay

I visited Hitoisi Homestay for the third time, and every time I return, it feels less like a trip and more like coming back home. My first visit was in 2015, and since then this beautiful corner of Sikkim has held a very special place in my heart. Hitoisi is truly a one-stop destination for experiencing the essence of the mountains. Whether you are a lover of trekking, hiking through serene forest trails, or simply soaking in breathtaking Himalayan views, this place offers it all. The natural beauty surrounding the homestay is peaceful, pristine, and deeply rejuvenating. One of the highlights is the authentic organic food prepared with love and care. The flavors are simple yet unforgettable—especially the traditional nettle soup, which is both delicious and nourishing. You can truly taste the freshness of locally grown ingredients in every meal. What made this visit even more memorable was being invited to participate in their cultural celebration associated with “Maha Sapta shrimad bhagvad Purana” and the worship of Krishna before Holi. Being part of such a sacred and heartfelt tradition was an enriching and joyful experience. It gave me a deeper connection not just to the place, but to the culture and people of Sikkim. I left feeling grateful, peaceful, and incredibly happy. If you want to experience the real spirit of Sikkim—its hospitality, culture, food, and natural beauty—I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Hitoisi Homestay at least once in your lifetime. It is not just a stay; it is an experience you will carry with you forever.

We had such a great time staying at Hitaishi Homestay. The hospitality was extraordinary and the local food was the best we had during our Sikkim trip. We were treated like family and were looked after well. The room was super comfy and clean. We had our own balcony with great views and peace. We had an absolutely wonderful and memorable stay at this homestay on 27.02.2026. From the very moment we arrived, the owner welcomed us with such warmth and genuine kindness that it instantly made us feel at home!! Her humble and caring behaviour throughout our stay truly touched our hearts. Their authentic breakfast was especially impressive and every food item served to us was delicious! The peaceful atmosphere, heartfelt hospitality, and amazing food made our stay truly unforgettable. I would love to visit again in the near future and relive this beautiful experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great hospitality and comfortable stay.

I have visited the homestay the experience was awesome and the hospitality of the staffs are mind blowing so we recommend must recommended homestay and the food is homemade and delicious not only the hospitality and the food but the home stay owners are very good human being they have shared their thought with us and if you come here then you feel like a home for two or three days so it's must recommended homestay you must visit here and feel the nature and also feel the nature like your home
