5 months agoAn Unforgettable Escape to Yangsum Farm: We had an absolutely awesome time staying at Yangsum Farm in early March 2026. The property is nestled in a serene part of Sikkim, located in the beautiful village of Rinchenpong. Our host and the owner of the farm was incredibly generous, kind-hearted, and amicable—truly a good soul. His genuine helpfulness and hospitality made us feel like we were on cloud nine. The property itself is stunning, boasting breathtaking mountain views, lush fruit orchards, and inviting treks and trails. One of the highlights was the food; the organic, farm-to-table meals were simply amazing. The cook, Meeraj, along with his colleague, prepared the most marvelous delicacies I have ever tasted. Not only was the food exceptional, but the staff was also soft-spoken, quick to serve, and extremely courteous. We fell in love with both the place and the people. Last but certainly not least, our guide for the trek to Rinchenpong Monastery—Meeraj's son, Darshan—was superb. Despite his youth, he possesses extraordinary knowledge about the entire area. He was friendly and helpful, always carrying a beautiful smile on his face. We are already missing this place dearly and will definitely make an effort to visit again!

The highlight of the stay was the amazing authentic food — every meal was delicious and felt truly local. They also have a local guide available for nearby trails, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for a quiet and authentic getaway.

4 months agoOur stay at Yangsum Heritage Farm was an exceptionally good and warm experience. The place is surrounded by nature, very peaceful, and away from the usual noise. The villages around and the villagers are beautiful. Rooms are well kept and absolutely clean. Absolute value because they give an option to include meals along with the stay. The food they served was straight out of their own farm, fresh, and really very well prepared. You can tell it’s made with care. We enjoyed every meal during our stay. What stood out the most was the owner, Mr. Thendup. Extremely humble, helpful, and easy to talk to. He went out of his way to help us, made sure everything was comfortable for us and was always available. He even took us for a hike personally and treated us with local drinks. Overall, it’s a place highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, nature-focused stay with honest hospitality. Also there are hiking/trekking trails that and Mr. Thendup helps organize a guided tour. Would definitely consider coming back. Thank you, Mr. Thendup, Miraj and other staff members!

2 months agoHad the most wonderful stay here for 3 nights! It’s located amidst a beautiful farm, surrounded by plants and trees all around. Mr Thendup was the most generous host. He didn’t just make sure we had a great stay there but also helped us with planning our itinerary. The staff is extremely polite and professional as well. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sikkim. Hope to visit again!

2 months agoOne of the most fascinating, tranquil and peaceful farm I’ve ever visited, such warm hospitality by the owner of the place and every associates & people are very warm and welcoming, they have such huge farm with lots of vegetables & fruits organically grown cooking the best authentic lunch & dinner including mouthwatering breakfast. Such wonderful place full of trees & aesthetic cottages.
