7 months agoFor 2k per night this is a great home stay. A care taker is there and if you tell in advance can prepare basic meal. We ordered food via Zomato. Our room was near the road, so lot of road noise was there. The reception area has fee books and a good kitchen. Overall value for money.

a year agoWe stayed here for 3 nights from 10th Apr'23 to 13th Apr'23. Ours was a group of 3 families with 12 members including 3 children from South India travelling for a week long trip to Sikkim/Darjeeling. As we were looking for options with Kitchen, after the google reviews we have finalised this property. It did meet our expectations and we really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are neat and it has all the facilities similar to Hotel. The host Sonamji is very nice person who will go extra mile to help and make your stay memorable. The connectivity is great as the property is just opp to Taxi stand. MG road is about 3 KM's and the Taxi person charged INR 150 for a drop. The only small limitation is it is just on the road and it is little difficult to load / unload your baggage during check in / check out as the cabs can't stay there for a drop.

2 years agoWe had an opportunity to stay at Pegs twice. Both thentimes it's been the most comfortable, friendly and absolutely enjoyable time for us. Our trip to Sikkim was made special by Sonam who runs this place. She went out of her way to put together a memorable time for our anniversary celebrations. Her whole family is extremely warm and have a lot of Knowledge about Sikkimese traditions as-well. The rooms here are all as good as new and every requirement for comfort met. We'd recommend this place very highly and hope to be back someday!

2 years agoA stay to remember forever..!! It happened to be my daughter's bday and it was so kind of them to have us celebrate with them at their home with a traditional touch. The host's kids were lovely and we all had a great time. I can't thank them enough for making this stay a memorable one. Lovely host, cozy rooms. Had a short but wonderful stay.

a year agoPegs homestay run by Sonam and her family is an overall warm and welcoming place that makes you feel you don't want to leave. Sonam is a gifted cook and really keeps an eye on serving fresh quality food to her guests, also numerous traditional dishes. The house is a harmonic mélange of private and guest space, everything neat and clean, of very high standard that I have hardly found somewhere else. There is an additional space for guests, where you can take hot and cold water from a purifier, sit on nice couches, take books from the open-to-guests library. It's an amazing atmosphere with Sonam's kids, husband and parents around who are all so helpful, kind and genuinely good people. They took so much time to answer all my questions. This is my first time to India and of course to Sikkim and I felt so heartwarmingly cared for. You really feel that they maintain an open-minded, inspiring place for people to meet and interact with one another. I would definitely come back! And I will keep this as a great example for warm hospitality.
