They render warm yet non-intruding hospitality, and cook simple delicious meals. Tea was exclusively nice! Try to get cottages on the upper level as inside rooms are bit cramped up. Double beds are small for medium sized individuals. The worst aspect which they should repair is the slope road connecting the property with the main road. If you're there with a FWD vehicle it will definitely reduce some self life of your clutch plate. After driving a good part of silk route I would say this 20-30 meters if road was the worst for my vehicle. Rest, if you're not getting an accommodation at Padamchen or reluctant to stay there, Namgyal is a good property to spend a night.

The road to homestay is soo bad ...and the fog worse the road to homestay....but your all bad experience will go away by the hospitality of homestay owners.. They welcomed us with tea and pakora..and a tasty dinner....they have a beautiful dining area also. The room is good....can be improved a bit more like...a towel for the bathroom and soap as per the number of people. Overall hospitality and experince is great...which is unforgetable. I am uploading their visiting card for people comvenience. Thank you.

A real cozy homestay at a remote location in Sikkim. We had booked our stay at Zuluk but couldnt reach there as roads were closed due to hevy snowfall the previous day. Travel agent rearranged the booking at Padamchen. Though we went to this place with disappointment of change in plans, we were pleasantly surprised by the stay. The rooms were neat & clean, with a great view of the valley and mountains. Das cooked some good food and was very friendly. Only suggestion to him would be to increase the quantity of the food. All in all happy with the place.

Simplicity and humbleness of the owners along with delicious food make the place a beauty of an adobe. The nice scenic view comes complementary. Rooms are average but just enough for a short stay.
