3 weeks agoStayed here for 5 nights and explored the local places in peace. One of the best Homestays i have been to. The host/owner Mr. Lalit is very kind and made you felt right at home, including the staff and cook Prem. One of the sweetest guy around. To people coming here, you won't regret for sure. Stay here for 2-3 nights atleast to explore the nature and surroundings. The views from the top floor room is amazing. Kanchenjunga is visible from our bed itself. Attached photos. Would surely like to go back there.

6 months agoWe had a stay at Kanchanjangha mirror homestay on 26th May, 2025.The experience was just 'WOW'. All were good. Lalit Rai,the owner is very helpful. He arranged our whole Silk route tour(njp to njp). From location wise the homestay(also from service wise along with room quality the homestay) is the best homestay at Aritar. Moral of the story: If you have plan to visit at Aritar with a night stay just contact Lalit ji and book the hotel without thinking twice.

5 months agoWe stayed for 3 nights at Kanchanjungha mirror home stay. The location is excellent. The food was awesome. Jyoti, the lady cooked whatever we liked. Chandan, Arjun are very polite and helpful. Lalitji is to some extent busy with other activities however he responded to our call whenever we needed. Overall it was more than excellent stay. I had visited a lots of home stays in Sikkim and this is different.

6 months agoRooms - Excellent Food - Taste good and quantity is just fine View from the room and roof top - No other home stay can compete this Be prepared to climb the stairs to reach the rooms, but when you reach there you will understand the effort. Owner Lalit Rai is a gentleman, called him multiple times for several issues and it was fixed. We had a nice time over there and will definitely visit again. Reaching there by own vehicle from Siliguri can be challenging as GMAP gets confused for some unknown reason. DO NOT FOLLOW blindly google maps with the direction. I have attached a direction where the road is much better and reaches quickly to the location. This is lat long 27°10'34.5"N 88°39'04.1"E from where one need to climb upwards towards Aritar lake and then follow Google maps as usual. Note - internet can be challenging and do not expect too much

6 months agoIt's a best place for off-beat. The location ,view and room are just amazing. Foods are good interms of test and feel like home. One small suggestion that kindly keep the room clean after guest checkout specially carpet and wadrof etc..
