a month agoJust FYI that the owners haven’t asked me to provide review here, so this review is as honest as it gets. We had the best hosts we could ask for! Mr. and Ms. Rai had set the bar for us in terms of hospitality and care they had shown throughout our stay. They had kindly prepared food for 4 times a day, which is unheard of if you book a Homestay around this area. And you won’t have a boring moment when Ms. Rai is around, her sense of humour and her cooking will keep your heart and stomach full. We got a room with the Kanchenjunga view, and it was small but very well-kept and clean. Kanchenjunga was visible early in the morning but will suggest staying at Pelling if you’d like a better view of the mountain range. Buddha Park is an uphill walk from here so if your endurance is nothing to write home about, will suggest taking a private cab for all sightseeing. Special shoutout to Suman, who Ms. Rai recommended for a private tour to hot springs. An amazing and friendly driver and would recommend him for your travel in and around Ravangla.

5 months agoMy stay at Hangkhim Homestay in Ravangla was nothing short of delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine care. The homely food, cooked with love, made every meal feel comforting and nourishing—just like being at home. Adding to the joy were the furry dogs, whose playful presence brought so much happiness and made the stay even more memorable. Their companionship added a special charm to the serene surroundings. What touched me most was the thoughtful gift of a Thanksgiving cactus while I was returning home. It was such a beautiful gesture, a living reminder of the kindness and hospitality I experienced here. Hangkhim Homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel cared for, connected, and truly at peace. I am deeply grateful for the warmth, the food, the furry friends, and the heartfelt gift. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ravangla! 🌿✨

6 months agoI had an excellent stay at Hangkhim homestay. The room was clean, the surroundings peaceful, and the hospitality genuinely warm. Aunty's cooking was a highlight of the stay and she even taught me how to make Thukpa. The homestay is also conveniently located near Buddha Park, which made sightseeing easy. The hosts are kind, helpful, and make you feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ravangla.

6 months agoStayed there for three nights. The host lady and gentleman were very nice and made us feel at home. Comparing the prices with other places in the same area, it was very reasonable. Room was spacious with a good view of the mountains. Extra blankets and pillows are kept along with fresh towels and 24 hours hot water. Food tasted just like home. Overall the experience was fantastic with no complaints.
