a month agoAwesome untouched place with endless natural beauty. Service and rooms are excellent. Only downside is, last 3-4 km road is totally off-road. Only Bollero and Scorpio kind of cars can reach the last miles. Hopefully the road condition will improve in next few months. But it’s hard to reach and that’s why it is not commercialized yet like other places and has the nature intact.

a month agoGreat off beat place near Darjeeling. This is the only homestay in Majuwa village. If you are looking for peace and want to spend a happy time with family, I will suggest this place to stay at least one day. The price is also reasonable.

5 months agoIf somebody wants to enjoy the serenity and tranquility of the Darjeeling hills this place is 10/10. The hospitality of the homestay including Basu and his family will make you feel at home so 1 more 10/10. The different cuisines and local dishes which is prepared by the awesome family is again 10/10. People can enjoy bonfire and barbeque at very reasonable cost so again another 10/10. So basically this homestay is 10/10 for me. Please make a note that this place is little offbeat so accessibility to Darjeeling main town is like 1 hour or so which will not be a difficulty for people who like to explore nature and hills on the way. Let's say if somebody requested them for a vehicle for daily sightseeing and travelling they can help with that also but with individual expenses (rest assured that will be the best of the lot).
