4 months agoThe wooden built homestay with its exotic natural surrounding poses an awe in tourists mind. The courtyard and the front garden is exquisitely filled with different varieties of plants and flowers, starting from ferns to varieties of orchids and agilia. From here, one gets magnificent view of Mt Kanchenjunga and we were blessed to see the mountain during our 3 nights stay. Hospitality of Ukee madam is excellent. She does birding, butterfly watching and is keen to cook good food and present it to her guests. Cottage is cosy with clean rooms and bathrooms. I recommend to visit this place once in one's Sikkim tour.

2 months agoAn Unforgettable Experience at Ukila's Homestay in Yangsum Village❤️❤️❤️ What an amazing experience we had at Ukila’s homestay in Yangsum Village! We recently visited this beautiful place and immediately felt right at home. My husband and I had a wonderful time, and we were especially blown away by Ukila’s incredible cooking skills!! We’re both huge fans! Her hard work, and the way she hosts guests like her own family truly touched us. The food was the cherry on top ❤️❤️❤️ the daal, the vegetable dishes... oh my goodness!!! Absolutely brilliant! Every meal felt like it was made with so much love and care. This homestay felt like a second home to us, and we are already planning to return. People should visit Yangsum Village Homestay without a second thought... not just for the peaceful, divine surroundings, but also for the wholehearted, wholesome experience it offers. One of my personal favorite moments was sitting in Ukila’s dining area, where the clouds literally drift in through the window while you’re enjoying your meal. It was surreal! And the view of the majestic Kanchenjunga from her terrace is simply beyond imagination. We created some of our best memories here with Ukila and the lovely people of Yangsum Village. So much love and gratitude to this amazing lady for her generosity and the love she spreads among her guests. She is truly a shining example of a good human being. God bless Ukila and her entire family. We wish her all the best in everything she does and look forward to seeing her again soon!

8 months agoRinchengpong itself a nice place and the homestay I choosen was very nice location, hospitality and good food. It's a offbeat village surrounded by flowers and trees. The homestay owner was very Co operative, talented and keen too regarding her guests. Their breakfast was excellent that I ever had. Lunch and dinner was good according to their cuisine taste. Ukhila guided us the Himalayas peak names nicely. A perfect homely atmosphere and environment we get from them. Some challenges are there needed to be solved. This is regarding some amenities to be provide inside the rooms specially in wooden cottages like clothes hanger, mirror, lights etc. Overall I must recommend the homestay.

a year agoYangsum Village Homestay is an experience in itself that you 'must' have if you are visiting Sikkim! The homestay is situated in Rinchenpong, a beautiful small village, owned by Ukila who is such a talented, beautiful and kind soul. She has been an amazing host along with her sweet family. We were a group of 14 people and she took care of us in such a good manner. Be it the tasty food, taking us for local sight seeing or having heartfelt conversations with us! The home is surrounded by mountains, if you are lucky enough you can witness the Kanchenjunga peak! Embraced by greenery, and flowers blooming all around....we couldn't get enough of the place. I don't think our trip would have felt complete if we hadn't booked this place. Thank you Ukila and Yangkila...we had an amazing and peaceful experience 🌻🤍
