We stayed at Yangsum Farm in May 2025. It was a large family holiday with about 20 people. I was impressed with how accomodating and hospitable the management and staff were. The meals were freshly made, tasty and our preferences were taken into account. As a family, we've never experienced this kind of generous and authentic hospitality anywhere.

We stayed at Yangsum farm for a family holiday in May 2025. The farm stay is probably the largest property in the area and the owner, Thendup Tashi and his amazing amazing staff took care of each and every requirement. Being a large group, we had various dietary requirements and meal times. The owner and the staff made sure we had freshly cooked meals, which were simple, delicious and served with utmost love and care. Considering how difficult it is to source things in such a remote location, hats off to Thendup for making everything look like a breeze. The farm has a large variety of flaura, fauna and fruit trees. If you love kids and dogs, you will be in for a pleasant surprise! There's even a few cows. The place and the people spoilt us and have set very high standards of hospitality.

The key highlights of this place are: Comfortable and luxurious stay A peaceful environment Stunning views (if the weather is clear) Beautiful natural surroundings During our visit, the weather wasn’t clear, but on the last day, we got a glimpse of the breathtaking views. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to explore and enjoy local cuisine. The rooms are spacious and offer a luxurious feel.

We were a family of 20 people across 3 generations with varying needs. Tashi took care of all of us. We had an amazing time on the farm. We will certainly go back, possibly in October when the trees are fruiting.

Never been to so great home stay. Excellent cottages. Neat and clean. Super spacious, equipped with all the facilities you can ask for. Superb staff and delicious food. Nice setup for breakfast( in the garden with clear view of Kanchenjunga) and dinner (nice dinner room) . It is a farm with good vegetation and fruits. A very good garden and jungle trails. Allows guest to pick and eat the fruit you want. The star of the Homestay is the owner. Leaves nothing on staff, makes you feel as his relative. He was there to welcome us, was always there when breakfast/dinner was served to us and when we left the home stay.
