3 years agoI was really happy with my time at Barsey Jungle Camp. Pluses: 1) It's location and access to the Rhododendron wildlife sanctuary. You walk out of the homestay and you're in the jungle. The sanctuary offers amazing hikes and walks. 2) The hosts in the Limboo family are absolutely fantastic people. Their hospitality is outstanding. They have a lovely home which looks like an old traditional Limboo house and they generously share everything they produce and cook with their guests. I was traveling solo and found great company in the family who took such good care of me. Minus: 1) The only negative, which is not really a negative was the renovation work that was happening right next to my room. It will not last forever so when you travel you will not have to face it. Other than that, it's lovely!!!!
