2 months agoDuring our recent trip zuluk. we had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel for a day with our family. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location in zuluk yet well-connected to the surrounding areas. What stood out the most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff, who treated us like family. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The services provided were outstanding, and we quickly developed a warm rapport with the team during our short stay. The quality of the food was also excellent, exceeding all expectations. A special mention goes to pranesh, aunty she is truly geme. Their kindness, helpful nature, and warm personality left a lasting impression on us. They ensured that all our needs were promptly addressed, creating a genuine family-like bond with us. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay, and we look forward to returning whenever we visit zuluk. This homestayl is a must-visit for anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

2 months agoYangzom La Home Stay is a wonderful place to stay as ever room has beautiful view, mountains are covered in clouds and during winter it's covered in snow. Rooms are very neat and clean. Room heaters are also available. Aunty cooks very good food and very caring. As she is a mother of two children, that motherly love is always flowing for every young ones. Uncle is very friendly. Smile is always permanent on his face and he greets everyone with such beautiful smile. Their children are very jovial and cooperative. Daughter is very well educated and intelligent. She has good command in english and a state level shot put player. Their son is a real gem and a very interesting person. He is a professional photographer and a mountain trekker. We spent our new year at Zuluk and honestly speaking Pranesh Bhutiya and his friends were really very supportive. It was chilling cold at night night but, we chilled with born fire and drinks with them. I will surely visit Zuluk again and stay at this place just to review the old memories once again.. Thanks & Regards, Arpan Bhattacharjee & Debasmita Bhattacharjee

3 months agoI stayed at Yangzom La Home Stay for 1 night and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. While the location is beautiful, the staff's behavior and lack of basic facilities made it feel more like a burden than a home away from home, the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcome. When I arrived, it took a long time for someone to even acknowledge me, and when I asked for some basic amenities like toilet paper, they seemed put off and told me it wasn't available. I had to request multiple times for extra blankets, and even then, they were thrown in with a 'whatever' attitude. They claimed it was a homestay, so I shouldn't expect hotel-like facilities, but basic cleanliness and courtesy shouldn't be too much to ask for. the food was stale, and when I asked for something else, they said they weren't a restaurant and I should manage with what was given. Seriously? I understand that Zuluk is a small village and things might be basic, but treating guests with respect and basic hospitality is a must. Yangzom La Home Stay failed on that front. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. Look elsewhere.

4 months agoThe behaviour of the staff is absolutely unacceptable — they are rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. This place is far from what anyone would call comfortable or enjoyable. The rooms are dirty, smell awful, and basic facilities like a geyser aren’t even available. The overall hygiene is terrible. The hospitality is equally disappointing; they clearly don’t understand how to treat guests with respect or courtesy. Honestly, this homestay should not be running — it’s a complete waste of money and a horrible experience.
